MSI Hosts "Captive Insurance Updates & Operations"

Join Management Services International (MSI) for a complimentary captive insurance webinar titled Captive Insurance Updates & Operations that will take place Thursday February 27, 2020. Back by popular demand, the 60-minute course begins at noon (EST) and will be hosted by Jeremy Colombik.

The continuing professional education (CPE) eligible course will provide attendees with the following.

  • Insights into the management functions of running a captive insurance company
  • An explanation of how a captive insurance company operates once formed
  • A view of the typical claim process from start to finish

Webinar participants will gain an understanding of how a captive insurance company operates once formed, be able to describe the role of the captive insurance manager, and understand the fundamental stages of claim processing.

Jeremy Colombik is the president of MSI, which currently manages more than 100 businesses that utilize a captive insurance company structure. MSI is currently one of the largest captive managers in the state of North Carolina and specializes in 831(b) captives. Mr. Colombik is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) and was previously the chairman of the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) where he served an extended term as the NCCIA board president.

MSI is an approved National Association of State Boards of Accountancy sponsor, and CPAs will earn one CPE credit upon completion of the course. Certified financial planner (CFP) continuing education credits are also available.
