Join Management Services International (MSI) for a complimentary captive insurance webinar that will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Back by popular demand, the 100-minute course will begin at 2:00 p.m. (EST) and be hosted by Jeremy Colombik and Richard Colombik.

The continuing professional education (CPE) eligible course will provide attendees with the following.

  • A brief explanation of captive insurance, including a history of captive insurance
  • Instruction on identifying various types of exposures, insurance coverages, and associated risks
  • The five key benefits of captive insurance
  • Direction for recognizing clients that are a good fit for captive insurance

Jeremy Colombik is the president of MSI, which currently manages more than 100 businesses that utilize a captive insurance company structure. MSI is currently one of the largest captive managers in the state of North Carolina and specializes in 831(b) captives. Jeremy Colombik is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) and a member  and former chairman of the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) where he recently served an extended term as the NCCIA board president. In 2007, Jeremy Colombik formed MSI when he was introduced to captive insurance through his father, Richard Colombik.

Richard Colombik brings more than 40 years of taxation experience as both a tax attorney and CPA. He has lectured extensively on income taxation and tax planning and has published articles on a national, local, and regional basis. He has been an Internal Revenue Service liaison for state and national bar associations and has chaired state and local bar associations' tax committees.

MSI is an approved National Association of State Boards of Accountancy sponsor, and CPAs will earn two CPE credits upon completion of the course.
