Pinnacle's Rob Walling Again Named in Captive Insurance Power 50

January 17, 2018

For the second consecutive year, Captive Review has named Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc., Principal and Consulting Actuary Robert J. Walling III, FCAS, MAAA, CERA, to its Power 50 list. The Power 50, compiled from the votes of more than 6,000 captive insurance professionals, recognizes key influencers in the global captive insurance industry.

"To repeat as a member of the Captive Review Power 50 this year is a tremendous honor," said Mr. Walling. "It's a reflection of the great work and customer service Pinnacle's captive teams provide each and every day." Mr. Walling has been consulting in the captive insurance space since 1997.

Mr. Walling serves scores of captives, including enterprise risk captives, large single-parent captives, group captives, and risk retention groups that are managed by more than 30 captive managers. He has also worked for more than 20 state insurance departments, including many of the leading captive domiciles. Mr. Walling has served as an expert witness in a number of venues, the most notable of which is the US Tax Court.

Pinnacle's managing principal, Joe Herbers, ACAS, MAAA, CERA, stated, "The firm is thrilled that Rob's valued contributions to the captive industry have once again been recognized. His consistent high-quality work continues to play an integral role in the expansion of Pinnacle's captive practice."
