U.S. Risk Names Bill Hodson a Sr. Vice President of GossRe June 23, 2010 Dallas — June 23, 2010 — Goss Reinsurance Brokers, Inc., the reinsurance brokerage division of U. S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that William J. Hodson has joined Goss Re as Senior Vice President. Bill has spent the majority of his career focusing on producing, placing and servicing reinsurance programs for specialty insurance writers. He is highly experienced in managing programs for unique Property and Casualty risks produced through both traditional sources and specialty wholesale/MGA sources. Bill is also highly experienced in guiding the formation of, and providing innovative reinsurance solutions for, Alternative Risk insurance companies (captives and Risk Retention Groups). Bill is very active in various insurance and reinsurance industry organizations, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and association meetings. Bill is currently Chairman of the Vermont Captive insurance Association’s Membership Committee, and serves on VCIA’s Strategic Planning Committee. Bill will work closely with Chris Turner, Executive Vice President of Goss Re, to provide highly focused, personalized reinsurance program solutions to middle-market specialty insurance carriers, captives, Risk Retention Groups and other specialty insurance operations.
