ATLANTA, GA and NASHVILLE, TN – (July 1, 2009) – Beecher Carlson, the fastest-growing commercial insurance brokerage and risk management consultancy in the country, announced today the appointment of Kevin Grady as Managing Director. Grady will focus on the management and delivery of Beecher Carlson’s ZOOM by leveraging his specialized expertise in analytics gained over more than 21 years in the business. He will operate from Beecher Carlson’s Nashville office. ZOOM is Beecher Carlson’s integrated methodology combining innovative claims processing, data gathering, predictive analytics and results-based metrics to systematically pinpoint and quantify major opportunities for casualty cost of risk reductions. Beecher Carlson is the first and only brokerage to integrate data mining within its casualty liability operations to discern previously unseen correlations and patterns in data that are instrumental to lowering casualty costs proactively and predictably. Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Grady served as Vice President, Claims for Aon Risk Services. He focused on the development and implementation of data-driven, cost containment strategies proven to improve year-over-year performance and reduce the total cost of risk. Prior to AON, Grady served as National Account Executive and Claims Manager for Alexsis Risk Management Company where he managed operations for all Tennessee locations while providing National account management services. He started his insurance career working for Aetna Life and Casualty where he managed multi-line claims including workers compensation, general liability, property and medical malpractice. He is a frequent speaker at client and industry meetings on the topics of utilizing research, benchmarking, rigorous data analyses, and key performance indicators to reduce the total cost of risk.
